    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Cross elbows, now with added sound effects.

Okay, so over the holidays I've not been able to get to my club, so mostly I've been shadowboxing to not get too out of practice. This week I've noticed that my right shoulder consistently makes a loud click every time I do a cross elbow. At first I thought it was just air bubbles, ligaments sliding, generic armchair diagnosis for "don't worry, it'll go away." But it hasn't.

It's very specific to the movement, punches and vertical elbows don't produce the same effect. Stretching/warming up doesn't seem to have any effect.

Should I worry, should I visit a doctor and should I stop doing elbows/anything until I get it seen? It doesn't hurt at all, but if there's something up I don't want to make it any worse. Has anyone else had this happen?

What type of click?, does it sound like a click? or pop? or snap? or crackle? or other rice crispy sounds?. Does it effect flexability?

Doesn't seem to effect flexability, which is why I'm not too concerned.
