Well, I started out doing sets of 10, then worked my way up to 15 etc. Honestly, I don't think I ever completed a set of 50 in one stretch without falling over.

Yes I've seen those. I keep trying to do them to no avail. Not only does it take incredible lat strength (since you're lifting your whole weight, but also to maintain the strange angle) but some very intense core control to maintain alignment.
