    Toa So Dou

Has anyone heard about this martial art, Toa So Dou? yeah, neither have I, but human weapons Bill Duff studies it. So my question is what the hell is Toa So Dou? and don't tell me it's korean streetfighting ('cause that's all wikipedia said about it). If you can then please tell me where it came from, who made the style, what the ranks are, sanctioning bodies, etc.

    Just curious.

the story is when they were getting their backgrounds Duff said he did some style of Korean StreetFighting when he was a kid. It was called "Tao Soo Do" or something like that.

Thus was created Toa So Dou.

Yes, it's mostly Okinawan Karate and the Dojang might also teach Hapkido like self defense techniques.

My organization (Moo Duk Kwan) has North and South Kung Fu influences as well as Okinawan.

TSD is comprised of Hwang Kee's training in Chuan'fa during his work on the Manchuria railroad, as well as Chungdokwan (Shotokan) training he received from Lee, Won-kuk. There is a brief history about him on the site.
