Looking for a school in Federal Way/Auburn in Washington State
I think I can make my schedule work if I find something relatively close and cheap.
Basically I'm looking for any of the following:
Would probably also consider:
Something else that's good.
The reason MMA isn't on top is because I'd rather build a foundating in either grappling or striking first. This would be something I'd do maybe 2 or 3 times a week, so MMA would have too many concepts for me to ingrain I think. I'm honestly short on time.
My old BJJ/MMA school moved and now it's a 25 minute drive away. Another school 5 minutes further away is also an option, since it's cheaper and offers either Judo or Muay Thai.
But I'd like something closer. So if anybody knows of anything, post it here.
What, this isn't the forum for this stuff? Kiss my ass. I don't know where else to put it.
How would you feel about some Kali?
I checked this one out personally and liked what I saw. Too badz they're an hour away from me...
Been there, didn't like what I saw. Sorry that I didn't mention it.
I trained there for about a month. Only saw sparring once, which is very odd. Never at the end of any class I was in. If I remember, it was before one of the kickboxing classes. It was only one of their advanced students with an instructor, too, so it wasn't open to everybody or anything like that.
Also what I didn't like were the hour long classes. Seemed really short, especially since the warm-ups took up like 15 minutes. Maybe things have changed now, but I don't feel like going back. An hour is still an hour. =/
Ack! *Bump* My thread is actually important, as opposed to the **** that gets thrown around here.
You mean you haven't actually been training?
Nope, that's why my style says "in transition", and that's why I haven't been posting on Bullshido, save the new conspiracy forum.
Try AMC in the supermall.
That's a LOT farther away, actually.
It's like there is some sort of force field in my area that repels good MA schools.
Isn't the supermall in Auburn?
