Mind you, doctors generally have a jaded atitude about nutritional supplements, but bloodwork does not lie. If you use ActivaTe Xtreme (not regular ActivaTe) and get bloodwork routinely (which you obviously do), then you should notice POSITIVE improvement in these areas:

1) Estradiol --> Down
2) Free Testosterone --> Up

Again, the theory is that the reduction of SHBG will cause a rise in free (but not total) test. Also, some bloodwork on the old combo showed a signifigant increase in total test as well, but that hasn't been seen as much with Activate Xtreme. Word of warning...your sex drive will sky rocket, especially when combined with test cyp, and moreso than test cyp alone.

I didn't explain this well in the previous post, but here's why I think you should look at Activate Xtreme provided you're not using any anti-estrogens:

1) SHBG reduction
2) Estrogen reduction (ActivaTe Xtreme contains anti-e's wheras regular ActivaTe does not).

EDIT: I can't find the publication now regarding SHBG and aromatization. I would definitely ask your endo if SHBG increases or decreases the chance of it. Since it frees testosterone you would theoretically think that it would increase it, but I could swear reading a publication that stated the opposite. Also intersting to know is that estrogen increases SHBG, but not the other way around.

"The imbalance may also occur from a decrease in free androgens through decreased secretion from the testes, altered metabolism of androgens or increased binding of androgens relative to estrogens by SHBG."

Highly recommended read about aromatization! While it doesn't implicate SHBG as a cause of aromatization, it does state that the testosterone/estrogen ratios might get screwed up due to less FREE (not total) testosterone due to SHBG.

In my limited, non-medical view:

Excess SHBG = bad
