I believe i've mentioned this to you in another forum, I wish you had some tournaments here in the northeast/mass area.

if u ask me i cant see the diff between this and MMA(UFC, pride)..........anyway AWESOME FIGHT!!!

The main difference is that there's no striking to the head in Pankration, which makes for a pretty big change in strategy. No GNP, very slim chance of knockouts (Body shot KOs seem to happen once every blue moon)... basically garantees that the fight will end up as a grappling match.
A lot of people seem Pankration as a halfway between submission wrestling and full out MMA.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't Pankration competitions ban 'dangerous' submissions, such as heel hooks and neck cranks?
