Eh, so what if you look weird, who cares. It looks better than cauliflower.
When I was rolling for a while, my ears would get pretty battered and would hurt for weeks on end, thankfully I didn't suffer from cauliflower, just really sensitive ears. It sucked when I went to the barber to get my hair cut, the barber folded my ear down and I almost jumped out of the seat. -

I guy I roll with has a red Koral gi, and red/black Cliff Keen twister head gear--quite sharp looking.
There is one company that does custom headgear, Cliff Keen. CK headgear, is, IMO the comfiest, and it doesn't screw with your hearing too much. You can get tons of different custom color combos, unfortunately pink is not among the choices:
