    http://www.fedor.bel.ru/index_eng.shtml

I guess fedor has got a official website now.

Also There is a link to M1's new web site. http://www.m1mixfight.com/ that's the English version. Their news section they talk about something interesting. Its about.... well ill just copy and paste

    Randy Couture's statement

    Publish date: December, 16, 2007
Randy Couture was present at HDNet Fights to corner several Xtreme Couture fighters. He announced that he hopes to fight Fedor in October 2008.

"Unless the UFC wants to do a co-promotion with M-1 and make the Fedor fight happen, I'm going to have to wait 'til my contract expires. I have no intention of breaching that contract; that expires in July. My employment contract expires with them in October. So I would assume the soonest you'd see me fight Emelianenko would be in October."
So there are two ways: wait until the contract expires or co-promotion UFC/M-1

Randy Couture about the possibility of co-promotion UFC - M-1 Global

    Publish date: December, 20, 2007
An interesting quote from the former UFC heavyweight champion

We got an official offer from M-1 to the UFC to do a co-promotion for the Couture-Emelianenko fight, and they (UFC) rejected that offer. Really, the only thing standing in the way for that fight right now is Dana and the UFC. Obviously, M-1 is happy to do a co-promotion like that. It only serves to help them. I think the UFC is looking at it the other way, and its like why do we want to help out another organization? The fans want to see that fight. At some point, you have to put that first.

Im suprised I have not heard this before.

Fedor got himself a can, the guy just doesn't want to fight real opponents anymore.

Fedor didnt 'get' a can, it was a fight offered to him by M-1 Global. Fedor wants to fight real opponents, but could not bring himself to sign the UFC contract. I wouldnt have signed it either. What the UFC expects out of some of its fighters is crazy.

The terms I heard were that they didn't want him fighting in the combat sambo events anymore, nor to be able to fight for anyone he wanted while in Russia. They wanted exclusivity which is, in my opinion, reasonable.
