It makes for good FAQ fodder.

I'm actually taking what's being written here to make a mega-ass FAQ. Then, next time someone asks the same silly question, I'll post a link to it and close the thread :eng101:
Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

    What the hell?!

    Ah, troll, never mind.

    Brief Name: check.
    Ends in a number: check.
Starting threads with stupid but plausible questions designed to lead to an arguement: Never!

That was close! I was worried I had become a troll!

a sculpted body ideally shows off a lot of dedication and discipline. don't get me wrong, mega super strength is nice, though technique and skill is developed within the same vein that dedication and discipline stem from.

No, a sculpted body shows that you really care about how you look with your shirt off when you stand in front of a mirror. Functional strength shows that you actually have dedication and discipline and not just some "gear" you got from Junkie #207 you found in the alleyway. If you really care about how you look naked, go hug your daddy some more until it's all better.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what the **** you are talking about.

I already gave you your homework. Go do it and come back when you are done with it.

Spend less time giving opinions about what's good or not good on strenght and technique, and spend more time actually learning about them. And you will when you start doing your homework.

Until then, enough of this ****. Thread closed.
