Ok so far ive tried frebreez, on both. It helped my shin guards a bunch, Seemed to be non effective on my Gloves.

I tried the Hair dryer thing on both of them, that seemed to work well. I think the combination of the 2 have saved my shin guards. The Hair Dryer help my gloves a bunch, but did not fix the problem. Right now i got them laying out in front of a window.

I think my next effort will be the Lysol, and or freezing them. ill keep you up to date on what i do after that.

Question - Will washing them damage the gloves any?

thanks for the help everybody, keep the advise rollin

Ok, first, its stinking from the sweat + bacteria and maybe some mold, and your taking MT so ill assume that tehy are MT gloves, first thing you wanna do is DRY them after every use, with some paper towels or some sort and then always stick those bounce brand or any other brand for the matter, laundry paper things, the kind you stick in the dryer with the clothes. you stick 1 sheet in each glove every time, you can go for 2 each if its a must, change after every use. I change it everytime i get home from training. also its leather, dont do anything to damage the leather, or else one day your going for a hook and stuffing might pop out in your pad partner's face.

and there is always baking soda, because it absorbs moisture and odors, which is your problem. but whatever you do or dont do, you must dry it after every use if it is coming that bad.

MORE FEBREEZE! MORE HAIRDRYER! Domite, if the washing machine ruins his gloves, do you promise to buy him new ones? Not some NYC knock-offs, either.

The washing machine beat up my gloves a little, but it's worth it.

I know there are sprays and glove dogs you can use for gloves, but I have never really tried them myself.

With your next pair of gloves, you might consider using two sets of wrap underneath? Or just buy two pairs of gloves and alternate.
