seems pretty legit though. It's a good thing that BJJ is starting to have some influence in China. Where people are probably a little more stubborn at accepting a foreign style.
ok jus saw the first clip...it seemed to me like they were circling each other and standing around half the time...and the asian guy didn't seem to know that much jujitsu and WAS wearing his cup outside...LOLLast edited by Noodlepower; 10/31/2003 4:02am at .

i don't think that's a fair statement. boxing was pretty popular and widespread when it was introduced. china also has a competitive team in international judo. i think it's only when stuff is banned by the government that different martial arts have a hard time getting accepted in china. considering how big it is and the fact that it's only been open for 20 years, i think china is making good progress.[i]

My friend owns a consulting business that operates in Beijing and Shanghai. He shuttles back and forth between the two. Last year he told me that BJJ was all the rage in urban China.
Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog -
