    Repeat after me, my son.
"O my God, I am heartily sorry
    for having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins,
    because of thy just punishment,
but most of all because they
    offend Thee, my God,
    Who are all-good and deserving
    of all my love.
I firmly resolve, with the help
of Thy grace to confess my sins,
    to do penance
and to amend my life. Amen."
    ~Act of Contrition

In nomine Patri, Spiritus Sancti, et Feli.

Now say three "Our Father"'s and a "Hail Mary" and join Judo.

they refused to let me train at full speed. they would do one technique, let us do it like 3 or 4 times then do something else. everything has to be done SLOW. i tried to do something fast and with some power and they said, no, do it slow and learn it.
how can i learn something bu doing it slow only like 3 times??
then, they dont really kick. they made me learn to do a "pushing" front kick. even when we were close enough to punch, they made me do some ninjer push kick thing.
i asked someone what happens when if i go on the ground, and his answer was well dont go on the ground. WHAT THE **** KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT?!
how about some free sparring i said. they replied no, too deadly could kill. blah blah blah every strike is going to mame or kill. solarplexes will kill in 3 shots.

and they dont even punch!!! they do those isshinryu style punches but somehow every single punch lands into a horse stance, then the defender punches my elbow or arm and then is supposed to punch me like 4 times, kick out my leg then kill me!!

I went through the same thing but with Aikido. Got the same "don't go to the ground comment". Stopped after about 4-5 months when I passed my first belt test. Started BJJ and will be getting back into Judo starting next week. I really suck at BJJ, I keep trying to do Judo instead of pulling guard on stronger guys. Then they take my back and choke me out. But I have fun, learn lots, and I know its real.

some of the stuff does work, i actually got into a fight and used it. not really a fight, the guy just came behind me and grabbed me in a bear hug, dropped my knees and weight, elbowed the fucker, threw him over my hip and proceeded to kick him in the face until he got blood on my shoe.
i think thts the only thing i liked was the grabbing and stuff caus esome of it does work, we practiced that full force, but nothing else.
the lack of free sparring and everything else i said, man, i think going just practice sparring or grappling in my back yard with friends is better than that crap.
i got into a ring with my friend whos a boxer, he just punched me until i decided to grab him, drop my weight and get on top.... then i realized i could be doing that without getting punched if i just took up BJJ or judo... man.. EPIPHONY!!!! if i spelled that right..
i still want to wear the cool ninjer suit for halloween though.
