    Isometric & Plyometric exercises

People should incorporate plyometric and isometric excercises into their martial art workout, to get the full benefit their body has to offer.

In spite of what some other web-sites would have you believe, we here at Bullshido.net welcome you, shotodefense, with open arms and hope that you will share with us your unique experiences and ideas on the martial arts.... so that we may then make fun of those experiences and ideas.

    uhm, why?
Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

Tony from Beach Bodies really likes Isometric Exercises. Plyometrics require a box....where the hell do people find plyo boxes and the space....does everyone live in sunny CA?*

    *this was sarcastic.

Well, I was just wondering if Shoto knows the difference or whether he just read it in book somewhere. Perhaps he just wants to seem knowledgeable. Or perhaps he does know his types of exercise and the differing regimens.

No, I'm not being sarky...I'm just hoping for the best. :)
