When I was about 17 I could walk up a flight of 13 steps on my hands.

I think I'm too short for that... I'd probably hit my head on every step even if I could muster the strength / skill it takes to complete such a feat.

If you don't feel good with using a wall, or dont' have the wall space, find someone who can hold your legs while doing it. I used to do these years ago, and that's what I did since I have trouble holding hand stands.
