So is Jens Pulver fighting in the WEC because he doesn't want to compete in the big(ger) leagues, or because the UFC doesn't have a featherweight division?

WEC is the UFC featherweight division essentially.

I think Faber jailrapes Curran. Jeffs a good guy and all, but I dont think he has anything to offer Faber. Hope Im wrong tho.

I think/hope Curran is going to surprise some people. Faber has a tendency to play the early Matt Hughes style "wreckless wrestler" which I think will play right to Curran's Jiu-Jitsu. I don't think Curran will finish him though. I think it'll go to a decision. At least that's what I hope. I'm kind of tired of hearing about the "man crush" Frank Mir has on Faber so I'd like to see someone else w/ the belt, but it will be a tall mountain to climb.

Any thoughts on the Pulver fight?

Anyone know if this will be streaming live or anything like that? Versus moved to digital cable only, so I can't watch it.
Also, I'm picking Brian to win by Brabo from topside of halfguard. Because he does that **** to me all the time and I want to see someone else get mauled.

Faber has legit jits skills. He's been with Glover and Werneck for a long time and while he's got his own gym now, I don't think he's separated from them.

That's interesting. I didn't know that. He doesn't seem to use the Jits. though. I think he just likes being more of a "brute force" kind of guy. Nothing wrong with that if you can pull it off (which he obviously can), I just prefer the fighters like Curran.
