By far one of the best cards lately IMO, it basically has 2 main events and 1 near-main event.

I'm excited for Chuck vs. Wandy, Hughes vs. St. Pierre and Sokou vs. Lyoto, although I'm actually most excited for Sokou and Lyoto. I haven't been a MMA fan long enough to really appreciate just how long everyone's been waiting for Chuck vs. Wandy and I'm betting St. Pierre is gonna just destroy Hughes again.

For those 3: Wandy, St. Pierre and Lyoto.

I'm actually a bit annoyed the Dean Lister fight is on the undercard, I'm a huge boogeyman fan.

And what the hell is with the UFC not showing all their fights anyway? When are they going to start showing them?

My picks are always crap, but I'm stoked about GSP v. Hughes and Chuck v. Wandy , of course. I'm really excited about Sokoudjou's first fight in the UFC. I love judo guys in MMA in general, and I've been impressed with Sokoudjou's fights. Check out some of his past fights if you can, he's sweet. I'm also looking forward to seeing Manny Gambourian again, I like his relentlessness, and he seems less of a dick than his cousin. And I like seeing DeSouza fight, I've loved him since the last season of TUF when he wouldn't he punished what's-his-name for giggling like a girl the whole time they were rolling.

    Lyoto Machida Vs. Rameau Sokoudjou

No matter which fighter wins this fight we all lose, if Machida wins we'll get threads like see Shotokan karate is great, if Soduku wins we'll a threads saying Judo owns BJJ, and math puzzles are the strongest MA etc,

What? Machida has won his last 8 fights and we haven't seen afore mentioned threads. And credit where credit is due, he makes his Shotokan work. As for Judo's victories over BJJ, there is plenty of evidence already.

GSP is going to bitch slap Hughes. By bitch slap I mean win by referee stoppage due to strikes in the second. Although I want Sokodjou to win, I think Machida will take it by decision.
At this point I couldn't care less who takes the battle of the has beens. But I think Wanderlei will walk away the victor by second round knockout.

Two exceptional fighters (Kimura and Fedor) do not a vast pile of evidence make.:hijackp:

    Yoshida, Parysian.

My point was that there is enough evidence to make the argument.

The said argument would of course be ridiculous becuase both arts have differant goals.
