Jujitsu and brazilian jujitsu
Last night I was talking to a green belt and some parents about Jujitsu. Our school has a gust teacher come in and do a brazilian Jujitsu class. Outside class I also do Japanese jujitsu. I was explaining the differences between the two, and this green belt keeps interupting me saying jujitsu is all leg chokes and wrestling. I had to keep correcting him of the differences between Brazilian jujitsu and Japanese jujitsu.
My point to this is, It drives me nuts to have to say Japanese jujitsu all the time now. Shouldn't the burden be on the brazilan jujitsu to have to differentiate?
I don't dislike BJJ. Just wording drives me crazy when trying to have a conversation.
Should I have killed the teen age green belt for not shutting up?
