    Looking for Shrimping Videos

Anyone know where I can find some basic shrimping clips online? Want to send them to my brother in Texas. I could only find the backwards shrimp on youtube. Let me know where I can find left, right, and foward shrimping vids. Thanks

Yes, I'm a n00b. Yes I promise to kill myself later. :emo:

I'm not a grappler, this is not the forum I normally police, *and* this is already in gitmo, yet it is all I can do to stay away from using the moderation controls for this thread.

Instead, I'll post a video of Carmen Electra demonstrating two person advanced shrimping drills:

I am clearly an idiot, but what is this Left, Right, and Forward shrimping you speak of? As I understand it shrimping is a description of a motion. That motion remains identical no matter which way you decide to move with it....

Forward shrimping is a different motion than normal shrimping, where you're almost dragging yourself forward with your feet while lifting your hips with each pull. Dunno about left and right shrimping, I'm thinking about another motion but I don't call it shrimping.

No, you're not an idiot. Left/Right shrimping is almost exactly like backwards shrimping exept that you are pushing completely away, not just away and down.

For example, say I'm laying with my head at the 12 o'clock position and my feet at the 6 o'clock postion and I'm facing 3 o'clock (left):

Backwards shrimping will push me towards the 10-11 o'clock position while the right shrimp will push me towards the 9 o'clock position.

At least that is how I was taught it. Hell, I could just be making it up for all I know.
