I've read in plenty of places that chili peppers can also help with weight loss because they help speed the metabolism. I also remember seeing an interview with Tom Kong Watson where he said he starts the day off by drinking hot sauce. I use tobasco on most food and one thing I notice is it induces a sweat pretty much straight away. Can't verify the weight loss properties but at least it's tasty.
