    Chinese Repeating Crossbow

Does anyone happen to have manuals/instructions on how to make a repeating crossbow? Ever since I saw it on History Channel, I've really been interested in building one.

This is what I'm referring to:

In the hands of an experienced crossbowman it will deliver five shots in five seconds with near-rifle accuracy over ranges up to 40 yards.

It depends on what you mean by "rifle." During the Napoleonic wars, for example, the use of longbows as opposed to muskets (which to a layman, is just another "rifle,") would have resulted in greater range and accuracy for Napoleon's forces. Why didn't he use them? Easy - the sound of firearms going off made the enemy grab their dicks and **** their pants.

No, even by the Napoleonic Wars guns had become entirely better than bows. And that's assuming a chu ko nu is comparable in range, power, and accuracy to a longbow, which it is not.
