i was wondering if anyone wanted to post some good links and clips of stick fighting

i just bought some escrima sticks, and read a few articles, and want to learn more - too bad there is not a seperate section fo Pinoy MA. There isn't any Kali teachers in my area, so I just been reading and learning. So please post:eusa_shhh

You need to look around for a Kali/Escrima/Arnia teacher.

Cannot be learned from books or videos.

where in canada are you? I am trying to find one, but have only been able to buy the sticks used. I kind of practiced some shadowboxing with the sticks.

yea its better to learn for real, but wanted to check out some links and stuff to learn a bit on my own time

Got some training in stick from other styles- still not the shizzle that kali is. My little kali pal cleaned up on me pretty good and I thought I was fairly badass- until you start swinging for real with a real stick- ouchies:lol:. I'd love to hook up with some philipino arts- they have some here in Edmonton.

    Lots of filipinos in canada.

I'm sure there are some FMA instructors or groups somewhere in your area.
