What is Martial Arts Planet and why do we hate it?

Before y'all yell at me to use the search function, let me state I've USED the search function and it has proven no enlightenment as to the origin of the enmity. I don't mean just general suckage, what was the incident(s) that started it all.

Just a reminder that to a lot of newbies coming into Bullshido have obviously no knowledge of previous drama or history. Which btw, sounds like an interesting idea. How about posting a "History of people/bullshido we don't like, and why." Like that whole Omar thing was confusing to me for a while.

Why did you post this in Guantanamo Bay? I you'd used the search funtion as much as you say you have, I'd have thought you know which forum to post in. This question bleings in YMAS.

Martial Arts Planet is just some other forum that has an "all styles are good, and we'll nanny every post to make sure that no one says otherwise" mentality.

bitparity - so you like to make judgements based on others' opinions? Why don't you go check MAP out first instead of being a muppet?

And what is with this 'we' mentality lately? Anyone can join MAP or BS, you don't have to be an MA'ist and sux to you if you somehow believe you're any better because you believe everything you read on the internet.

"We" don't "hate" MAP. Many of our members dislike its soft policies, and its mentality that every art is good. I, for example, have no bone to pick with MAP. You may very well have no problem with MAP. Go decide for yourself.

Bullshido is not a single like-minded entity. We are a group and community of people. Don't believe what you think you should.

MAP is just another forum with a different tone.
Many people here actually post or have accounts on both.

And we don't hate it.

I hope I am the first to describe softcore martial arts as MAPDojos, then you can all say that word was invented by a badger, not any badger but The Badger who is currently very happy with himself.
