His one of the only people in the UFC that can challenge Anderson, I think... theres so much talent at LHW , that I think he made the right choice.

This is going to be a sick fight. Whether we see Decison Dan again , or the one who went after Wanderlei.

That said.... I hope Anderson mauls him.

I'm guesing that Henderson was told if he wants another title shot, it's gotta be at 185. There's just too much talent at 205 that, after his loss to Rampage, the line is just too long for a rematch anytime in the next 2 years or so. *off topic, does anyone know who Jackson's next opponent is?

However they got him to do it, great move by the UFC for adding a little balance to the divisions and giving the fans one hell of a fight to look forward to. I know I'll be tuned in.

Didn't matt hughes say he was going to middleweight or something if rich franklin lost? ..

I really outta find my sources before I type posts.

EDIT: Ahhh yeah.. It was an entry in 2006, not 2007 on matt hughes's website. Sorry.

He just said something last year about "If Rich lost I might go up to 185".

    Worthless post for the win.

Silva's current wrestling level isn't clear, his fight against Lutter had him with two blown knees. It is kind of moot though, I really don't see Hendo having an advantage over Silva once it is on the ground (Hendo got out jits'ed by Rampage). Standing, the advantage is more clear for Silva. A.Silva is also more technical and less reliant on power than W.Silva. You can slug it out with Wanderlie but not with Anderson.

Despite his power, Hendo's only advantage is in takedowns. If he were training with Couture about in how to work the fence I'd be worried for Silva but that partnership appears to be dead.

I actually think Lindland would do better versus Silva.

I freaking want cung le vs anderson silva.

Cung le is so good at stand up and technical that it'd be very interesting to see them fight...

Well, his takedowns and his cast-iron chin, which will let him get into range more than anyone we've seen him fight lately

Anderson brings the skill, but Hendo is a tough bastard who will find a way to win if there is one. People never expected Hendo to knock Wanderlei out, but look at what happened. Either way, it's gonna be fuckin' sick.
