    Traditional MA: Self-Defense BS?

I'm just wondering if Traditional Martial Arts schools should not specify that they teach self-defense. The self-defense techniques are structured and so engulfed in formality that it has almost no resemblence to a street attack situation. So they saying that they teach "self-defense" is basically false advetisement. Any one else share my opinion?

Hey, I just noticed that fastest KO tag.

Did you beat Frank Dux's record?

No. Dux was clocked at 60 lies per minute. That cannot be beaten.

Mav has done a swell job of making this thread better!
