    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    When did it click?...

I've been doing BJJ for about 3 months now and I'm still getting my arse easily handed to me when we roll!

I've joined a good school and they've all definitely earned their grades but it just feels like I'm headbutting the ground every class.

I'm not TOO uncoordinated (I'd like to think!) and I know BJJ is very technical but just ONCE I'd like to be able to mount, achieve side control but not get flipped and end up being stacked and have a gaping rectum to show for all my troubles...

When did it all start to click and come together for the rest of you??

    Yeah, yeah: "Keep at it!"...

Sorry for sounding like a whinging whining beearch!

In three more months when some new guy walks into the school you'll realize it already did.
Your training partners have trained longer and are better, on the plus side your learning curve is currently steeper.

I've been going really hardcore for a year now. As far as I can tell there is no magic "clicking" that happens (At least it hasn't happened for me), you just slowly get better and better. You'll continue to have better days than others.

How often do you train? My brother recently switched from going 2 days a week to 5 days a week and in 2 months it's made a huge difference.

There aren't really any short cuts though. The more time you spend on the mat training and rolling the better you'll get.
