Israeli martial arts is probably code for "I once taught Krav, and got sick of the licensing fee".

Dam near everything on that list. Now before anyone studying those martial arts gets upset take a deep breath and listen.
You can get certified to teach to a yellow belt level rather quickly in certain "Isareli" styles.
Ninjitsu has so many hacks you'd be surprised how easy it is to get rank in that style.
JKD is in the same boat.
NHB is a ruleset attributed to Sport fighting. Thing is I bet he would play a semantics game and we couldn't call him wrong.
Thai Boxing is the one that would be hard to fake.
All I was pointing out is a few classic signs of a McDojo.
To be fair you initially said appearance of bullshido that is what I was addressing (probably EricH also).
the guy's site does have the distinct appearance of Bullshido.

Asking him what qualified him to teach Israeli martial arts might uncover his actual experience. Similarly I'd be interested to know which retard of ninjas he trained with.

I'll email him when it dies down a bit. Sorry, the initial email would of made me defensive.
As much as it sucks you have to play to these idiots egos. Yes, I was a McDojo instructor.

There's no such thing as Leykis 101. There's a radio guy who claims that the secret to life is to treat women like ****, and he calls his schtick Leykis 101 . . . . but it's schtick. That brings up another point, actually--I wonder whether Leykis would approve of this joker making money off his name.

This guy is awesome. On his Myspace, it says his hero is . . . . are you ready for it?
...I've looked Death
right in the eye (a few times)
"No F***ing Way !!!"
The Hall of Fame he belongs to ( www.usnmat.net ) inducted him as "Survivalist of the Year." I find that more than a little odd. Do they induct a "survivalist of the year" every year, in a martial arts hall of fame? Or is this one of those places that hunts around and makes up a category for everyone who ponies up enough?
I honestly don't know. I also notice that this is the same hall of fame my old TKD instructor belongs to, and I don't want to piss him off again, but frankly this Coach Jim is coming off as pretty shady. I don't think Bill would be a part of something he knew was a fraud, but "Coach Jim" seems to be about half a bubble off.

that writing looks very familiar
I think he actually e-mailed or went on the Dog Brothers site trying to convince them of the ineffectiveness, inefficiency of Kali/Escrima/Arnis.
I'll try and find a link to the thread about him

I got a response from Biola. Bolded part is my emphasis.
I have forwarded this e-mail to the Human Resources department. Since no full name is given I don't know if they can verify or deny that he was ever employed here but if they are able to give any information I will forward it to you. We don't have a "professor of survival" position but perhaps he taught a self-defense class.
If you have any additional questions or need more information please do not hesitate to either call or email us. Thank you for contacting the Office of the Registrar.
