Missed this thread. Did a bit of research and didn't find much on this fight. A few vid comments seem to suggest that Smith thinks there was a foul, and that he won the match. fcfighter has it as a win for limiac via ko (slam) though. I'm not sure of the ammy mma rules here, though, so I'm not sure if there was a foul or not. Eitherway, doesn't seem like it's quite worthy of a "hey look at me!" spot on the webpage.
As for BJJ SPokane, I've never trained there. Most seem to acknowledge that they're the best grappling game in town for BJJ/MMA though. OTOH, I have heard a few people say their reputation is suspect. We have a guy training at our club now who is interested in rounding out his grappling game for MMA, and yet he chose us over them. FWIW.
IIRC, when I first moved here about 3 years ago, Smith was a brown. Now that he's a black, under the Machados I assume, you gotta figure it's a good school for BJJ. And I'm pretty sure their fight team does well locally in MMA too. -
