Yes, he is still on the show. The investigation is still continuing. He is still the same schemer though. There is word about that he has been having meetings with an ex-convict in the past month. He is probably looking to sharpen his skills to bilk more people out of their money.

He has a few new e-mail addresses and a new phone number that he has been trying to hide. A good thing is that Po is thinking with his lower anatomy again. He believes he is so worldy about women. He is clueless. Wait until he realizes who this new contact is. The information is being drawn out of him like a baby eating candy. It is humorous and the kicks being gotten out of it is worth every bit of information being received. There is much to be said for using the right bait. This person is so good, that the Pope would eat of her hands.

AN UPDATE

Its time to share some information that I've been sitting on. At least until a trial was completed. You'll notice that Po Outer and Outerete have removed and erased their posts here. In late November, early December Clark and Carolyn Clifford were served with notice that Rivera/Po had filed a citizen complaint against then for harassment in the Nutley Municipal Court. The prosecutor of this court then decided to prosecute this case for Rivera. They were charged under N.J.S.A 2C:33-4(a) which reads:

A person commits a petty disorderly persons offense if, with purpose to harass another, he: (a) makes or causes to be made a communication or communications anonymously or at extremely inconvenient hours, or in offensively coarse language, or any other matter likely to cause annoyance or alarm."

The Cliffords were also charged under section (c) which has slightly different language.

The case was tried on April 10, 2008 and the judge dismissed the charge against Mrs. Clifford and found Mr. Clifford not guilty on April 23, 2008.

Joseph J. Discenza Esq, the Clifford's highly skilled trial lawyer indicated to me that he had advised his clients not to post again on Bullshido because he did not want them to risk getting charged again in Nutley N.J. Municipal Court, advice I understand. So the Cliffords will not be back to take your questions. However I am going to describe what happened at the trial itself which I was subpeona'ed to attend and for which I testified on behalf of the defense. Given my opinion that the Clifford's posts did not criminal harassment I did not attempt to contest the out of state subpeona.

Post Two, Poe's testimony


Poe provided the following details/claims about himself in his testimony and cross exam.

1) Started with Opie and Anthony on October 10, 2004

2) Had been studying FMA since 1981 and martial arts since he was five years old. He's 46 now.

3) Lives at 13 Baltimore Street in Nutley, presently trains three students in his back yard.

4) After he had "lost" his school in 2002 "it was taken from him" he recovered it in 2005 and the pipes were broken and the sheetrock was ripped apart.

5) So he had a producer in the summer of 2005 announce that he needed help and people came to his nutley studio to help renovate. (Poe said about 40 people showed up.)

6) Claimed that his ma school closed because of a CO issue in 2006 [Note, it was actually reposed]

7) Claimed that to earn his mastery he had to fight 300 full contact fights per year when he was studying with his prior master.

8) Carolyn Clark, (Po Outerate) was his office manager until October 2006. Poe also claimed she was his girlfriend for a while.

9) Poe was really bad with dates and had to use a cheat sheet, he actually thought that he was told he couldn't go back to the studio in December 2005, confusing this date with August 2006.

10) Po admitted that when one of his dogs mauled the other fatally, he owed money to the vet, so he sent the dog in with Carolyn to be treated, who was then billed for $1,400. It took her months to transfer the bill to Poe and have him admit responsibility. Poe admitted to still owing the Vet at least part of this sum.

11) Claimed he had lost students because of a post on Bullshido which Clark Clifford (Po Outer ) had made which quoted text from Po's myspace ad when it was hacked. While hacked the ad featured a discussion of how Po was accused of rape and holding a woman hostage and his supposed denial. Po claimed it was harassment for Clifford to reproduce this text on Bullshido. "I've lost students because of it" [Clark has denied hacking Po's account and indicated to me he only reprinted what was on another board, called "Full Blown Aids" which concerns the O & A show.

12) Po said that he had not read bullshido until November 2007 when he found a link to the thread on another A & O oriented board.

13) Poe said he had trained from 1983 through 1998 with AP Marinas Sr.

14) Opie and Anthony hired him (Po) specifically because he was a martial arts master and "They hired me for my martial arts background" because they had been previously "threatened by guns and gangs", "Po asked "what happens if I am confronted by someone with Bullshido" when I am out escorting them around. 15) The Bullshido people "who want to challenge me wherever I go".

16) Poe said that it would cost $50,000 to solve his internet problems (I think he meant pay for a civil lawsuit) he complained when people plugged in his name it turned up the bullshido thread with the sexual allegations.

17) Poe said he had trained American Special Forces Soldiers for one day in offensive edged weapons work in Maryland in 1994.

18) Poe said under cross that he had broken with his master in 1998 when an individual named Ace who knew TKD studied FMA with him and then obtained Po's permission to open his own school but he then betrayed Poe by stealing students from him, and Marinas his master taught a seminar at Ace's for money and then Poe found out, confronted him about betraying him and he and Poe had a falling out.

19) Poe received his masters certificate in single stick (Yantak(sic) on November 21 or 22 of 1992 and his whip mastery in 1994. I believe he indicated that he had five mastery certificates from Marinas, though he had brought two along with him as exhibits and couldn't locate his side handled baton certificate. Carolyn Clark mentioned to me that day she had never seen these certificates in his studio.

Post Three:

I arrived at the Nutley municipal court at 10 am. We then underwent a delay before Poe stated his direct exam at 10:30. The first part of Poe's exam was concerning how he knew Poe Outer and Poe Outerate were actually Clark and Carolyn Clifford. This was necessary for Poe to establish that even the right people had been charged with harassment.

During the first part of Poe's testimony he was simply horrible at remembering dates, when he re-opened his school, when he closed it, ect, and got permission from the judge to refer to a cheat sheet with these dates written down to refresh his recollection. Poe then testified that He had dated Carolyn Clifford for three months in 2006 and this was why the present vendetta existed.

Then the defense attorney challenged the prosecutor concerning the issue of whether certain posts and e-mails were written by the defendents so they cut a deal. Poe had brought in what appeared to be every nasty e-mail written about him during the last two years anonmously and wanted to use word association to "prove" that the Cliffords had written all of this correspondence. To put it kindly I don't believe that Rivera/Po had the law enforcement background necessary to provide such expert testimony so the prosecutor and defense attorney agreed that rather then spend a month in court fighting over the admissibility of each e-mail they would stipulate that Clark and Carolyn were Po Outer and Po Outerette, discuss only the Bullshido posts, and save everyone some serious court time.

The defense stipulated to these identities and the prosecutor agreed, though Poe kept trying to revisit this issue. The judge listened sympathetically but didn't allow any of these anonymous e-mails into evidence.

Poe monologued during his testimony about how he had been harassed by attacks questioning his mastership, and he had the certificates to prove his mastery. (Poe had earned mastery certificates by weapon.) He had two with him, another two at home and kept saying he had a certificate of mastery for the side handle baton (tonfa) he couldn't locate.

Poe said some other things about his mastership and it is my personal opinion that while Poe was claiming that the allegations of committing a sexual crime was the most important part of his harassment claim he was really motivated by anyone questioning his "mastership".

Then Poe was cross examined. Defense counsel did a very good job of getting him to admit that because the dog incident had actually happened, and that he was claiming to have had at least one affair with a married women therefore what Carolyn said about him in her posts would be accurate. Defense Counsel went through some of the other posts attempting to lessen the impact of various statements by pointing out that Poe had admitted to behavior whose mentioning he had considered harassment. Joe also got Poe to admit there was no universal standard in the martial arts for Mastership.

Then I was called to testify by the defense for the final half an hour of the trial. Did I consider what Clark and Carolyn did as harassment. No. Did poe report the thread early in December 2007, yes but his demand that we take down the entire thread, the unspecific allegation of criminal conduct, and his demand that we contact the nutley police department rather then this Police Department contacting us, made his complaint lack credibility.

Then it was time for cross and the prosecutor asked me all kinds of questions, and generally did his job well.

When I got off the stand, Poe was sitting about 15 feet away from me, so I went up to him and said softly in a friendly voice. "You're welcome to come onto Bullshido and post and tell your side of the story." Poe stood up immediately and yelled "That's not the point" so the prosecutor told me to leave and blocked Poe from me. I and the others then were escorted out of the opposite side of the courtroom.

On April 23, 2008 the Cliffords returned to court and Poe and his girlfriend were also there. From what I heard from the Clifford's defense counsel, the judge strongly suggested that they not return to post on Bullshido to keep out of future trouble and then he dismissed the charges against Carolyn and found Clark not guilty. Then the Cliffords and their attorney had to once again be ushered out the other side of the court room because Po was upset and venting to the prosecutor about something or another.

Finally neither Clark nor Carolyn testified. If was their decision not to take the stand, and it greatly shortened the trial.
