I actually experienced exactly the same thing 4 months ago, and I would agree with a lot of what the others are saying, SEE A DOCTOR.
I was rolling, had a partial dislocation/subluxation, luckily it popped back in. A week later, I was just lying on my bed stretching out my arms when it popped out again, hurt like a bitch. Because I didn't get it taken care of early, I've now lost some of flexibility in my left shoulder.
I strongly recommend taking 3-4 weeks off from rolling, and for months after that, if anybody attacks that shoulder, learn to tap out early. The last thing you want is for the injury to become permanent.

Stop fucking around with braces and ****. You are past the point of no return where rest and ice are not going to do ****. You injured your shoulder twice within a few weeks period.
Even if you wait it out and let the pain go away, chances are the shoulder is not going to heal properly and you have a very good chance of losing mobility, at best, or live in a world pain from now on at worse.
So don't **** around anymore with your shoulder trying to take care of it yourself with braces and stuff. You are past the point those things will help without medical assistance. Go see a doctor, please.

you're beyond "taking it easy", fella. you have now branched into "you have an injury and you can either take care of it properly or have surgery" territory. it sucks to sit on the sidelines, we get it. but think of it this way... a couple of months on the sidelines with very limited training, or surgery coupled with a longer recovery period. letting injuries go only causes more problems than it's worth.

What if, instead of grappling, you just train standup? Because mine bothers me when grappling but not when I'm windmilling my hooks.

Ok... You guys scared the **** out of me and I took all of your advice. I went to see the doctor but he didnt really say ****. I guess cuz he told me to put my arm this way and that way and it didnt hurt in any of the positions. OR maybe because its freakin Kaiser and they suck!
Well, I have an appointment with Orthopedics but it's not till Nov 29th. HOPEFULLY all is well. I guess I'll take November off from rolling and hopefully it'll be cool for December.

I think I have a stinger on my left shoulder. After a couple of weeks off training and little or no recovery, I'm seeing a doctor on Monday.
Do you recover from one of those? The idea of training in a softer martial art fills me with woe.
