    Unique things in CMA

Is there anything in any CMA - techniques, tactics, methods- that could be applied or be useful in practical competion that haven't already been picked up on? With so many styles out there, you'ad think there would be at least a couple of things that could be of use or at least interest.
    Any thoughts??

Could you re-phrase your question a bit? I'm not sure I understand it. Also, what kind of competition?

    Actually no it isn't.

If you look at many facets of different cultures you see things similar.

    Hopefully you aren't trolling.

I didn't think I would get these kind of comments when I only asked a question. Seriously, why be sarcastic? it doesn't get you anywhere.
\What I meant was, what techniques or strategies in CMA that haven't been picked up yet by MMA, for example, would actually work?

I have never trained for MMA nor have I seen many MMA fights but I have heard that alot of CMA is in MMA that people don't talk about much. Plus Cung Le is starting to do more MMA stuff so you should look to him for CMA badassery.

PS- we are a bunch of weenies in real life and can only beat people up with our internet cocks.

Modern CMA such as Sanshou are direcly transferable to MMA, TCMA would take some extra working on. I think a lot of it comes down to how you train, as most MMA classes spend a good amount of time sparring so you will get a feel of what works for you, but many TCMA schools do not or if they do, it will be in a limited way (like 98% of Wing Chun).

In my opinon there are no particular techniques that are not in MMA that are in Kung Fu, but there are techniques that are in MMA which are not in Kung Fu. And many TCMA have for a long time had additional elements attached to them such as entertainment, nationalism or religion so sometimes are not purely about fighting. But Sanshou/MMA is JUST about fighting, the direct and effiecent applicaiton of violence.
