"I didnt miss his point at all . I just feel that his point dosent properly shed light on the core issue ."
So you want it to be your thread instead of his?
You want to talk about what you want not what he wants?
You know you can start your own thread.
You know you can even reference this one.

1) Doc didnt start this Thread , Ronin did . But even then that wouldnt matter because :
2) Sometimes its not about getting the right answer , but about asking the right question . You can Phrase questions in a manner so that they will NEVER get a useful/apt response .

Psh, you guys all need to watch Fearless Hyena! Theeeeeen you will know how to strength train. Pulling sandbags around with your teacher standing on them is the way to go. :)

Laugh all you want , but Jackie looked better in that flick that Bruce EVER did .

Actually, I totally agree with that. I like Jackie way more than Bruce. Some of the training sequences in Fearless Hyena, Snake In Eagles Shadow and Drunken Master look pretty freaking grueling. I would train that way if I had a little dude to ride around on sandbags in my yard. I seriously would.

Man , the dude thatplayed "Toad" in "The 5 Deadly Venoms" had them BOTH Beat . He was fuckign RIPPED . That was always who I thought about as being , like my Physique Idol as a kid . Bruce was just Too Skinny .
Neutral, or nearly so

Wow, three interjections on my part got way more response than I anticipated.
I'm also assuming when you said "I think you're both to blame for letting this get of hand." you meant keinhaar, Wastrel.
While I should perhaps read the new thread Keinhaar strikes me as a bit of a semantictician (or rather my definition of such). Meaning that he is focusing on small details and looking for absolute precision in description and that (as he said) the training is going to be identical.
This thread degraded when it became focused on minutiae that result in no tangible training differences and the CAPS button came into play. I also think that keinhaar likes to goad people for fun.
Such as thou art, sometime was I.

Toad was freekin' awesome.
Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog
