NAGA Video and Question
I competed at NAGA this weekend and won some Katanas. This is a video of the featherweight adult No-Gi beg. Finals.
At 1:20-1:26 I use a position/grip that I have been developing in class but was never taught. Does it have a name and do you know any other moves from there? What is happening is that when he turns into me I put an arm around the back of his head and then wrap it into his bottom armpit and post on the mat. I get this position a lot and I either go to their back like I do in this video or I reach for my own hand on the mat and force their head down into a roll so I can get mount.
I'm not asking my coach because I didn't think it was a good move until I got it to work on someone else AND I have a business trip and won't be training until next week.

I didn't know you were going to be out there. I got 4th in the No-Gi Beginner Flyweight division. My conditioning is CRAP. I beat the first guy with a triangle, then the second guy went to overtime and I was just too exhausted to stop him. Then I had a match for 3rd and was too exhausted to stop the guy from mounting me and putting on some stupid neck crank. Still, A good enough scenario for my second comp ever. I'll have vids up on google and on my blog sometime tonight or tommorow.
Congrats on your wins dude. LOL, I just watched the video, we actually watched that match and I didn't recognize you.

You can slip your other arm through for an easy Darce... at least that's what I'd do from what I saw, and what you described. Armtriangles are usually the best option whenever you control the head and arm like that from my experience...
There's actually a few different "Head and Arm" chokes you can hit from that postiion without risking an escape whe you go for the back

Yeah, I'm up to just under 140. I had to take my jeans off to make 138.5. So I'm up about 8lbs of real weight.
