Goddamit, the tension in the biceps is completely different from what one feels with dumbbells. Plus, it feels more of a compound movement (from the chest all the way towards the forearms via the biceps) than an isolation movement like a plain vanilla bicep curl. Pretty cool.

odorblocker, for your next thread, why don't you create it with a title like, I dunno, "bodyweight exercise of the week", or better yet, "Bodyweight Exercise: <name of the exercise>". Each thread would contain only one video clip.

That is, for this clip, it could have been named "Bodyweight Exercise: Elbow Curls". Just like the crossfit bot threads that are easely identifiable and containing one exercise only, you could do the same with these ones.

It makes them easier to find for those looking for this type of material. Also, if people want to talk about them, then can remain focused on one exercise at a time if the thread is focused on just one.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
