Hrm. Between UT judo and the presence of a BJJ club led by a purple belt, if you have a limited budget in mind and you are really looking at MMA, then it might make sense to look at your paying dollars going primarily into Striking or No-gi instruction. (There is the UT wrestling club, but EVERYONE in that is going to have 4 years of high school wrestling and conditioning under their belt, so you'd probably get eaten alive). I know that Frank Benn from earlier in this thread is supposed to be an extremely technical boxing coach, Larry st clairs place is nearish too.........Where does rodney solis teach? I know he's upposed to be pretty wicked in the MT dept.

Like I said, I've never trained with him. I just knew he was in your area so I posted his info. Check the site I provided, and also Darren Lillian from Infinite Jiu-Jitsu trained with Mr Benn for some time, he will be able to answer your questions too.

Right now just because of location and budget , Frank Benn's school is looking real good. I will also supplement it with the Judo club. And Ulises, I just facebooked you and I've definitely seen you around campus before lol
