Hm. The ages are suspect. And it's a bit heavy on the non-combat oriented arts (TSD, JJJ and HKD). But, if legit, that's actually a pretty decent pedigree. And the Judo BB (again, if legit) would put him beyond mere crappling. It's beyond me why someone who has a Judo BB and a Kru cert would put the focus on a sleeveless XMA look with a ninja sword. I mean, what is he trying to portray?

I don't believe Judo has a blackbelt for under 18. At least not a respectable org.

It looks like "Master" Golden is working hard on Grandmaster,
(at least based on the size of his beer belly).

He also seems to be a Master at taking photos with celebrities
There are many more like this on his site.

Lets see:

Looks to be out of shape with 40+ inch waist -- check

Lots of black belts at a young age in different arts -- check

Started his own style -- check

Seventh dan in his thirties -- check

Various Hall-of-Fame memberships -- check

I was betting he had him in a "surfboard". Something that was in the "Tao of JKD" that I used to like throwing on my friends when they'd turtle.

Don't do an image search for "submission surfboard".

I believe you are correct. A quick look at my USJF recordbook shows "junior" ranks going up to 1st Kyu, purple. Shodan rank is only listed under "senior" ranking. So, his Judo rank is bs, from a kodokan perspective anyway.
