If this is the one of the dude shooting the barret and it richochetting and catching his earphones then I think its worth keeping in mind that the gun he's shooting can shoot well over 2,000 yards, over a thousand with pretty damn good accuracy.

i dont know how close the target they were shooting was, but it wouldnt have to be all that close for the bullet to be able to come back. If the dude can afford a 6,000 rifle, the 2,000+ scope on it and $2 bucks a round to shoot it then he probably know what he's doing. It's just a freak occurrence .

Yep I think this is the one. True, the round could have richochet back. But I'd also point out that the ability to afford all this doesn't neccesarily mean he knows how to use it. It could be a freak occurence, but it could also just be incredible stupidity... Lots o' dumb rich folks walkin' around ya know...

Straight up - that **** could happen to anybody. I don't see anything in that video to make me think the guy's an idiot. People shoot at steel targets all the time with Barretts. You don't want to get stupid with the thickness, but typically it will punch right through. It could have been a piece of a target, like SFGOON said, which would be freakishly unlikely to come back and hit you. He also could have been shooting at what he thought was a good backstop and the round could've hit something buried that he couldn't see. Pretty scary if you're a shooter.

People shoot at steel targets all the time with all sorts of rounds, doesn't have to be a big ol .50 BMG, of which there are more available than just the Barrett models. :new_snipe

Just so happens the .50 BMG is usually making bigger holes/breaking more targets. :love4:
