First of all...a lot of respect for getting in the cage. That's impressive on its own. Even more impressive is posting a loss. Very few people have the cajones. I hope that you can take a critical look at yourself and improve your game and get the wins if thats what you want.

Heres what I have to say critique wise :

You need to work your standup first and foremost. I'm assuming that guy was a striker and you are a grappler. You lost the standup decisively. I saw you actually express frustration when you threw a shitty punch. Increasing your confidence in your skills and also expressing less to a future opponent would be a good idea.

You also need to work your takedown defense and takedowns. You played bottom when the match was on the ground. You did a good job keeping his posture broken down so he couldn't open up, you also did a great job of taking his back those few times. The ring experience may help you be more comfortable and capable in finishing from that position. But truth be told - if there was a win to be had in that fight, and there certainly was, you needed to start playing top position. That requires a better takedown game.

Lastly work on conditioning. It can't hurt. Towards the end your opponent was totally winded and lowering his hands, but you were also very tired. Insane balls to go to the third round. Nice work.

I mean no disrespect by any of this, and I actually thought you had a good fight. I would have said you won the ground game, but I am very grappling oriented where as judges will often give decisions to people who sit in guard on top and can't pass.

wait, so you were the winner right? I ask because Aero said you posted it even though you lost.

edit: nevermind, for some reason when i watched the video it got messed up and showed the wrong fight.
