    Jenfucius,

Once, my elbow was hurting but it wasn't swollen or anything. But someone told me to take some ibuprofen. So I did. And my elbow stopped hurting. But seeing as how my elbow wasn't swollen, what helped was probably the herbal wine I rubbed on it.

    rigante, poet, mr. mantis, thanks.

the rest of you douchenozzles, the GP who saw me didn't refer me to an orthopedist. she didn't even try to abduct the knee, rather she poked at it like it was a bruise. she insisted on telling me it was a bruise, even when i told her the kick was on the opposite side of the soreness. after i told her that for about the fifth time, she finally became aware of it but didn't examine it any further. i had another GP who referred me to the orthopedist, so obviously the medical record from the first one wasn't referred to him. in fact, her secretary kept calling me and i had to tell them that i was being followed by someone else. the orthopedist didn't mention anything about the anti-inflammatories. it barely hurts at all now so i'm glad i did what i did. i'm assuming that NSAIDs are for the alleviation of symptoms of pain and inflammation. if i find out in pharmacology that i was wrong, then i'll know better.

i'm not seeking medical advice from you guys, my goal was to find if anyone else had an MCL sprain before and what their experience was.

    and herbal wine rules!

    Douchenozzle?

Why don't you tell the whole story nimrod? Every time someone pointed out what mistakes you were making you changed your story so you could say, "Oh I GOTCHA!"

Oh my god! You got me man! Two GPS! Good move.

Here's some advice: Dump the specialist, forget the MRI and just get some more "herbal wine". There's probably some on sale at Cost Plus.
Normally, I'd say I was grappling, but I was taking down and mounting people, and JFS has kindly informed us that takedowns and being mounted are neither grappling nor anti grappling, so I'm not sure what the **** I was doing. Maybe schroedinger's sparring, where it's neither grappling nor anti-grappling until somoene observes it and collapses the waveform, and then I RNC a cat to death.----fatherdog

Don't even use herbal wine. The body has everything it needs to cure itself right?
