Yes.
Two that I can think of off hand.
Scott Morris in UFC 2 who got utterly destroyed by Pat Smith (considered one of the most brutal KOs in UFC history). He did beat Sean Daughtrey in the prelims with a guillotine choke. AFIK he has never fought again.
Steve Jennum who won UFC 3 after being an alternate for the event. He only had to fight one fight that night and was the championship match, his opponent had fought his way up the bracket. He won a fight in UFC 4 and didn't win since. His record is 2-3-0
Both guys were from Robert Bussey school and was at the time when Bussey broke with the Bujinkan because he felt that their methods were too outdated.______

To his credit, Jennum was able to armbar the #8 ranked WBA heavyweight at the time in Melton Bowen.
Morris...well, he'll live on forever in highlight reel KO's.
(Fun fact, according to "No Holds Barred", Morris' trainer refused to throw in the towel believing his style couldn't lose. Smith was the one who voluntarily stopped the beating) -

In UFC3 it was Harold Howard that Jennum was matched against in the final, as Jennum was Ken Shamrocks subsitute.
He won by ground and pound, Jennum held Howard by the throat with one hand whilst punching him with the other.
Howard was pretty fresh looking, especially considering that in the same UFC both Royce Gracie and Ken Shamrock had to bow out due to injury (not caused by Howard).
