Earnie Shavers, asserted to be the heaviest ever punch, decked Larry Holmes and said (paraphrased) "For 8 seconds I thought I was the Heavyweight Champion of the World but when I saw him get up, I thought, uh oh, I'm in trouble now".

I don't know the quote exactly, but during Vera vs Sylvia, Rogan and Goldberg were discussing Vera dropping weight classes.
Goldberg: Vera says he loves ice cream.
Rogan: (meekly) I love ice cream too...

During an ESPN2 friday Night Fights telecast back in March, the regular commentators for the program (Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas) didn't do commentary for this one specific telecast. So Bernard Hopkins and some young dude (who actually wasn't half bad as a commentator believe it or not). So, because Wrestlemania was a week away, they had Elijah Burke on. He wrestles on the WWE's fake ECW program on the Sci Fi network. He was on commentary for a few minutes, doing his heel (bad guy in wrestling terms. Face is a good guy) routine, and the young commentator (who was kind of nerdy and white) was kind of eating up the routine, and asking a billion question to Burke. Burke was being his on screen-WWE role, and Hopkins didn't say a word to Burke. When the camera caught the commentators, you can tell Hopking was thinking in his head "why the **** is some phony wrestler here? I am above this!". It would have been great if he actually did say something, but you can tell he didn't care much about Elijah Burke, WWE, nor Wrestlemania.
I am surprised that no one (including myself) didn't rell off any ridiculous Teddy Atlas quotes. Like during the Nate Campbell vs. Ricky Quiles match, Campbell was annihalating (spelling?) Quiles, and Teddy actually GOT OUT OF HIS CHAIR MANY TIMES to yell to the ref to stop the bout. it was kind of weird and embarrassing. Teddy Atlas does love and carew about boxing and boxers, but he LOVES attention, and has a hot temper. I know a few years ago he punched out some ESPN producer or something like that.
Oh, and Joe Tessitore loves saying Joe Antonace's name. He usually says it "Joe AN-to-nache!" Notice the stress on the first syllable on Antonace's name.
