Geoff Booth Hapkido Sydney - Would You Like Fries With Your Belt?

I can't believe I forgot about this. In my video camera I have a 45 minute long tape of a black belt grading at this school from 2 years ago. It was one of the most craptastic spectacles I have ever seen, complete with an audience cheering the participants on - I thought I was at a WWE match. Anyway, said grading featured some awesomely piss poor groundfighting, a "test of spirit" which consisted of them standing in horse stance and taking an open hand to the body, and yup the good ol' boardbreaking (but don't worry, there was so much more). The funny thing is, it starts out and you think "wow this is bad" but it gets progressivley worse until you don't know whether to laugh or cry. To top it off at the end Geoff gets up and says black belts have become cheapened.

Anyway although I have the tape I don't possess the equipment to put it online. Is there anyone going to the Melbourne throwdown that does? Even anyone that resides in Melbourne since I will be here until December. I will be happy to surrender the tape for the greater good of martial arts if someone can put it up.

Yes I to would like to see this vid!. By tape do you mean a cassette?

I'm in Perth, so other side of the country, but if you wanted to Fed-Ex it to me or something, I could put it up.

Unfortunately, without some unexpected windfall I won't be able to attend the Melbourne TD.

If you chose to go this option, I could send the original back if you wanted.

What format is the tape?

Yeah it's your basic mini cassette type dealy, the one that fits in a video camera. Whatever format that is I'm not sure. I'll give it until the weekend Goldenmane and if I still haven't had a response from someone close I'll be happy to send it over to you.
