The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris -

Did they not think that being shot at might have been the cause of the some of the disabilities? If this article started with 73% of body builders ended up on disability after 20 years, it may have had a little more credibility in the second statement. The military realized that 73% of Navy Seals were on disability after 20 years of service so they spent an entire year researching why and found that it was the traditional weight training exercises that did the damage. -

Guys, I bought the Perfect Pushup tonight. I plan on trying it out, but bought it for other reasons. My girlfriend has been struggling with exercising with her chronic carpal tunnel. I brought it home, she got down and busted out some girl pushups and about flipped.
"My wrists don't hurt with these things! Honey, thank you!" *SMOOCH*
Yeah, I might get lucky tonight...
EDIT: Yep, got some! She even jumped in the shower & shaved her legs & other pertinent areas...Last edited by Jim_Jude; 10/18/2007 10:39am at .

You know you can buy pushup bars? That should be fine for someone with carpal tunnel or any wrist problems. In fact I think pushp bars are better than the Perfect Pushp, it's just a gimmick. Why put your rotator cuffs in that position? Seems like its more injusry prone as the movement isn't fixed.

Yeah, well, for another $20, I can get some tricky spinning ones. Won't be the first time I spent a little more money for a handy gimmick, & I'm sure it won't be the last. Hell, I blow more taking my girlfriend out to a shitty movie. I forked out extra for my LifeLine jump rope & it was definitely worth it.
