    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    MA gyms in Tennessee?

I've been looking for a place to spar/train/TD with other martial artists in Tennessee. Does anyone know of any MA gyms in Tennessee? If so, is there a membership fee and what's the location?

Well, you're in Knoxville so Memphis won't really cut it, but Memphis Judo and Jiu Jitsu is a pretty decent gym in Bartlett (actually it's the only decent gym in the greater Memphis area)

In Knoxville there are loads of MA schools.

One I'd suggest is the Knoxville Martial Arts Academy, you can check out their website here: www.knoxvillemartialartsacademy.com

Of course there's Premier martial arts and they have a couple schools all around town.

What type of MA school are you looking for? MMA? BJJ? That will determine what kind of school I'd suggest.

I know this is an old ass thread, but I was just searching for stuff going on in TN.

Just gonna take a second to plug Appalachia Marital Arts Center (formerly Lakeridge). Good comprehensive grappling program on Saturdays (9:30-11:00, then open mat from 11-12) Tuesdays and Thursdays (7:00-8:30). Some integrated striking in that class

info on instructors that was on practicalgrappler.com... but seems to be down now..:

And yes the second guy is a BJJ black belt, that's just a VERY old picture. Check Helio Soneca's site.

and a self-defense/mma class on sundays I've never gone to:

My idiocy is in no way representative of the typical student, nor is it encouraged by the instructors.
