ah, the for hire gig. It pays better. I payed a bass player who'd worked with Brad Delp (The band Boston) a total badass, he got some dinero to lace up our last four tracks. It was a relief, I don't like having to teach bass players bass, or guitarists guitar, unless it's my girl, my only true student.
A three way split on the publishing was the primary motivating factor. I'll find a nasty bass guy, and make him learn the parts when we go on the road next.
p.s. soft rock is the r33l stud8io, all of those guys/gals can play their ass off, it's a session guy's dream.
