As for his credentials, he's got some black belts in some weird systems and lists that he trains at 10th planet with eddie bravo, but lists no rank from there.
You're obviously a douche, Mr. 'Internet Warrior' (WTF is that anyways?).

He's obviously a BB in multiple styles, but not BJJ, but so what? He created a site full of free vids with legit techniques, that, *surprise surprise*, actually work.

Oh, and could you please post the video of Submissions101 teaching an arm traingle from 'bottom mount'? WTF is a 'bottom mount' anyways?

How bout you post about things you actually know about (say, what site has the best free porn) instead of things you don't know about at all (submission grappling).

is this post serious??? if you don't know what mount is then you have no business breathing, let alone posting here, IMHO

    I know what mount is.

But there is no such thing as "bottom mount" which was what the quoted poster said.

Assuming that the poster I quoted is a dumbass and uses the term "bottom mount" instead of the proper term "being mounted," then that person was just lying, as there is no Submissions101 video of doing an 'arm triangle' while being mounted.

Which brings me to the assumption that the poster I quoted in my post doesn't know the difference between having your opponent in your guard and being mounted, which are two completely different positions... which is why I think the poster I quoted is a dumbshit.

In other words, READ WHAT I ACTUALLY SAID IN MY POST NEXT TIME BEFORE QUOTING IT AND POSTING YOUR OWN IRRELEVANT BULLSHIT.

    Ari wrote on that forum:

"So, I was reading a post on Bullshido about Submissions 101. I understand that everyone has an opinion and we might not all agree on stuff (techniques). Some guys love the vids, and other just want to question lineage (and nope, I've never claimed to be a BJJ black belt but I don't think that means I don't have anything to offer). My videos were created as a helping hand for people who love Jiu Jitsu."

While it may be true that he has never claimed to be a BJJ black belt (verbally), wearing a black belt while demonstrating BJJ moves is a serious misrepresentation of what he is, if not an implicit lie.

This is not to say that his videos are bad or not useful. But if he's embarresed of demonstrating technique as a blue belt or a purple belt, then maybe he shouldn't be doing them...

Have you seen the mma girls?

They are absolutely awful, but no one walking by would think they were anything but stupid bitches that maybe had 10 hours of jiu jitsu training...

I'm not going to comment about theit BJJ clips (striped white belts aren't allowed to talk) but in their aiki type ones there are "mistakes" typical of mid/advanced Kyu level.

In which case doing an arm triangle would be sound?

That said, my instructor was showing an arm triangle from under side. He did however qualify it pretty heavily.

If the guy was super dumb, you might be able to pull off an arm triangle from under mount. IF you actually caught him in it, the bonus is that you dont have to respect his tap for that idiotic mistake. Its a gimme :)

I'm not saying that at all, I'm just responding to krazy kaju' picking out "bottom mount" as something only a crappler would use - an arm triangle from under mount, bottom mount, whatever you want to call it, is still a Bad Idea, but just because someone said "bottom mount" instead of under mount doesnt make them an idiot.

    What am I?:

I am ignorant, thieving, lying, hypocrital, violent and thoroughly self obssessed. I steal from others to make myself look better, only to make the item or information worse.

I go on and on and ON about how brave and strong and brilliant and wealthy I am, but in the end I'm all mouth and no trousers.

That's right children, I'm your average AMERICUNT! and I exemplify AMERICA!:911flag:

Yes, through persistent lack of work and the cultivation of ignorance, he is a true American.
