    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Aikido and Zeppelin

What do they have in common? Both originated from stoner hippie geniuses ...

Whatever you think about Aikido or Zep. If you like either, you will probably like this. Not sure if it is even vanilla Aikikai. Might be Aikijujutsu or Yoshinkan.

So here is the vid ...

These guys have t3h r34l Akido! Literally, they do. They're known as "Realni Aikido". They're Eastern European if I remember correctly. I think the founder of the style was a Sandan or something in Yoshinkan.

Shouldn't this be in YMAS or something?

And Ueshiba was a stoner??? What does this mean? Could Eddie Bravo actually simply be his reincarnation!? Is t3h r34l Aiki actually t3h Rubb3r Gu4rd???

EDIT (Actually watched the video): What the **** is with the running, spinning, twirling, I-don't-know-what at around 2:30 into the video???? (Or rather, with 2:10 left.. damn backwards embedded video timing ::grumble grumble:: )

I really can't stand this type of demo regardless of the art.

    "Valhalla, WE ARE COMING!!!!"

Zeppelin was Pagan Viking Rock cross-trained with the Blues. Neither of these cultural sources would tolerate stoopid hippie hand-holding mandancing at all.

The Bluesman probably SOLD HIS SOUL to Satan, whereas the average aikidoka sold his soul to compliant training.

And the Viking will gobble shrooms, turn into a bear, and EAT YOUR SOUL.

In fact, in the Immigrant Song, they specifially diss "peace and trust" in dealing with marauding barbarians.

Way of the BearShirt > Way of Harmony. Aikido loses again.

Damn. I thought you meant Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin... (Really)

Maybe he studied Japanese martial arts. Sorta ultimate aikido axis of evil thing.

I wanted it to be about balloons... preferably with aikidoists trying to fight their way out of one.
