Is anyone actually watching that abortion of a show, Manswers, far enough to see it was some Dim Mak ****? Dude, you guys suck!!! I cannot even stand its commercials. I rather watch the Food channel or midget-and-chicken porn instead.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris

I'm really impressed with Serra's fight picks. It was both a lot more respectable to pick a lower tier guy to fight Blake, and it was pretty damn smart. He knew that Hughes was probably going to pick on Hightower in the next fight, so he struck first.

I also laughed at Hughes' reaction to the pick. "I'm soo happy, that's the fight I wanted. Serra is soo stupid..."

He says that about every pick. "That's the fight I wanted, it was all for me!" Then later, "GRR..... did not try hard enough, you bastard!!!"

in Hughes defense, what do you expect him to say? "****, that was a good pick...you're fucked bro" ? He's gotta stay optimistic.

Mac Danzig's attitude makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Judging from the previews for next week he loses it though. I'm kind of relieved, I was afraid I was going to start cheering for a grass eating commie, but soon I'll be able to hate his guts with a clear conscience.

Looks like he snaps. This episode he talks about how much he likes Billy and thinks he's great, next episode he's snapping at him and saying what a dirtbag he thinks he is. I think Danzig takes the game a bit too seriously and gets mad when he sees people who aren't as into it as he is.

For Hughes, the smart thing to do would be assess the relative strengths and weaknesses of each fighter that are getting paired up, which is what Serra's been doing. From what I gather about the kid before this who lost, Hughes didn't give him any advice for what was going to happen.

Here is an interesting purely-armchair question: assuming Hughes was NOT just trying to boost the team's spirit, what could he had seen wrong or lacking in Richie Hightower? He seemed to be a decent fighter, certainly much better than Blake (no disrespect intended towards Blake.)
