first off let me say that Spencer Fisher was my favorite fighter in any weight category coming into this fight. However, Frank Edgar is the assistant wrestling coach at Rutgers University (which i attend) and we have the same jujitsu coach (from team Rhino). As a result, i'm cheering for "The Answer" on this one.
who do you think takes it, how, and why?

Edgar takes it by beating the **** out of Fisher on the feet and on the ground. His wrestling is light years ahead of Spencer, so if he gets in trouble on the feet he can put Fisher on his back and pound him; I doubt that Fisher is better from his back than Tyson Griffin.
Who's Rhino's jj coach these days?
Undisputed KING OF ASSHOLES.

Coach Eddie Cruz is one of the jujitsu coaches, but i don't know how often he teaches there. he says he runs into Frankie once a week, or something like that

Fisher has no takedown defense and his BJJ isn't good enough to submit Frankie. If that Canadian jiujitsu champ that lost to Frankie in his last match couldn't submit him, I doubt Fisher will be able too. Frankie's hands are also good enough for him to be able to stand up with Fisher IMO.

I like both fighters, they've both proven themselves to be real tough competitors
fisher impressed against stout in his last fight, his stand up was crisp after spending time in thailand
but i think edgar will control the fight on the ground if and when he finds himself in any trouble whatsoever
and next we have guida vs huerta...another barn burner i'm sure =)
luv the LW division
