I just wanted to ask a couple questions regarding some of the effects of assassination techniques ans how they can be identified post mortem. I know some of them involve trauma to the neck(certain arteries, veins, the adam's apple etc.) But is there any information regarding the identification of other things such as pressure points?
Kinda short, but I truly want to know this because I hope to be able to learn more about the martial arts. Especially the darker aspects of it. I spend my spare time writing fiction stories and playing video games. I have an extremely insignificant and limited knowledge regarding it. Thanks.
In spite of what some other web-sites would have you believe, we here at Bullshido.net welcome you, Neophyte, with open arms and hope that you will share with us your unique experiences and ideas on the martial arts.... so that we may then make fun of those experiences and ideas.
Welcome to Bullshido!
Regarding pressure points, that tends to result in things like this:
So in other words, pressure points/dim mak/'death touch' etc is mostly hokum.
Can this be moved from NT?
I will be good for a month if it is.....
I would think that it would be easy to determine the cause of death if it was anything hsort of a "chi" attack.
Bleeding internally, and blunt force trauma should be fairly recognizable.
You guys mentioned briefly that Dim Mak is usually used for such techniques. The exact technique used to kill is determined by personality. But what if someone was feeling the effects of the attack in his throat when he was closer to the abdomen? Would such things be possible?
But that video brought another question into play. What is it about chi attacks that make them work? Why do they work more effectively on some than others? Why are 60% of people more tolerant to it?
Assassination techniques comprise, like .00000001% of martial arts. Half are bullshit, the other half just aren't trained because most people don't plan on becoming the next Sirhan Sirhan.
Instead of ninja pressure point bullshit, read up on poisons and venoms. The more obscure, the better. But don't forget basic staples: ricin is always a knockout favorite (LOL PUN).
Don't forget about guns, though. A silenced 9mm can do a lot of damage when used properly.
edit: the point of the video was to show that chi used in that manner is BS.
Chi is baloney.
It is all in the peoples minds. Despite numerous million dollar challenges to prove that Chi attacks exist and work, no one, and I mean no one, has stepped up to the challenge to claim their million bucks.
Not George Dillman, not James Lacy, not anyone.
So forget all the houcs pocus crap you see on TV and in Anime'. It just doesnt work.
What was that really good, slightly productive thread on Chi that we had a bunch of months back?
It's called the Barnum Equation. In Chinese astrology, people born at a certain time, each minute of the day, are especially vulnerable to chi based attacks. One born every minute adds up.
