    Keysi Fighting Method

    Just a quick question:

Has anyone been involved in a Keysi seminar or trained in Keysi? Seems that after Batman, there's been a big buzz. I've checked out the supplement dvd from the Batman dvd pack and was just wondering what you guys out there thought of the style and its applications.

I'm pretty much after any reviews if you guys have them available...

Let me cut you off -- why do you want to know? It's not because you're considering training in it, is it?

Just out of curiousity I guess. Something pops of with lots of hype, I wanted to know if there was any substance to it.

W..t...f...? Well..I learnt something...never even heard of Keysi..
It seems just like JKD...anything choreographed onscreen can look amazing...are there any real fights? (They could prolly still kick my ass.)
    I just think Gunkata..
I have to say tho, I enjoyed Batman Begins quite a bit...lot better then I expected.

    "Description

KFM makes use of multiple attacking ranges, with or without weapons. The KFM trademark is the thinking man (Pensador) and thinking man attack (pensataq), which makes use of a tight defensive shape to protect the most precious part of the body, the head, and literally smashes and opens up the opponent for the finish using all ranges of strikes - punches, hammer fists, kicks, knees, and the sharp elbows, all at high, middle and low lines on the opponent.

The shape of the thinking man or pensador represents the unification of the mind and body."

    Wow...just wow...

When I hear monkey, I think this...

Monkey steals the peach FTW! The guys expression is like.."OH SNAP! What do I do?"

Wow..they sell a think call Martialarm..good I guess if u want a dummy or something..but, I love some of the reason they use to sell it...

Training with the Martialarm regularly will not only get you in shape, it'll help you get the cut look you've always wanted!

Just learned a new technique but have no one to practice it on? The Martialarm will not only be there but will show you if it works.

You can learn new martial arts skills by watching the Martialarm videos. You'll learn what you need to defend yourself and your loved ones. And by training regularly, you'll get results in no time!
Makes me think of infomercials.."Don't have to do any work" But I guess..this advocates..you know..ACTUALLY training..

Somehow I don't think the Martialarm fights back..(A la Master of Disguise, "Whose your daddy!")

You can learn techniques from their videos..w/ results in no time!

You can't make people smarter. You can expose them to information, but your responsibility stops there.

    So they have the anti-MT.
Read this for flexibility and injury prevention, this, this and this for supplementation, this on grip conditioning, and this on staph. New: On strenght standards, relationships and structural balance. Shoulder problems? Read this.

My crapuous vlog and my blog of training, stuff and crap. NEW: Me, Mrs. Macho and our newborn baby.

New To Weight Training? Get the StrongLifts 5x5 program and Rippetoe's "Starting Strength, 2nd Ed". Wanna build muscle/gain weight? Check this article. My review on Tactical Nutrition here.

t-nation - Dissecting the deadlift. Anatomy and Muscle Balancing Videos.

The street argument is retarded. BJJ is so much overkill for the street that its ridiculous. Unless you're the idiot that picks a fight with the high school wrestling team, barring knife or gun play, the opponent shouldn't make it past double leg + ground and pound - Osiris
